My trips to Walt Disney World are becoming more and more regular, and each time I always try to do some things I've never done before. Walt Disney World being the magical, gigantic place that it is, though, there is still so much I haven't gotten to experience. I've decided to put together a WDW bucket list so I can keep track of what I still want to experience and share my thoughts on each of these as I get them checked off! I've organized the list by location, which should help if you're planning your own WDW vacation and want to add some of these experience to your own list!
Stay at the Boardwalk Inn
Stay at the Contemporary Resort
Stay at the Polynesian Resort// done 9-2016
It is now my favorite resort of all time. My sentiments may be somewhat skewed since it is where we began our honeymoon, but I don't think anyone can argue it's not a phenomenal hotel for many reasons.
See the Christmas gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian
Eat at Cinderella's Royal Table
Ride the Walt Disney World Railroad around the entire park
Experience the Wishes! Dessert Party
See the welcome show
Meet Aladdin and Jasmine
Eat breakfast at Be Our Guest// done 12-2015
It's expensive, but my breakfast sandwich was delicious, as well as the gluten free pastries they provided for me, and if you can get a pre-park opening reservation, I think it's worth it.
Ride Astro Orbiters during Wishes!
Ride the "Jingle" Cruise at Christmas// done 12-2015
Longest line for a ride I have ever seen. Thank goodness for FP+. Definitely a fun take on a classic, especially since the jokes are holiday-themed, too!
Take the Keys to the Kingdom Tour
Attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party// done 12-2015
If you've never gone, it's worth it to go, most especially for the super low wait times. Beware: the parade song will be stuck in your head until the day you die. //Once upon a Christmastime at Chrissssssstmas//
Attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party// done 9-2016
I think this one is actually more worth it just because I love the Hocus Pocus stage show and the Halloween fireworks so very much. And the Haunted Mansion is so tricked out, it's fantastic. We skipped the candy stations and focused on rides, and we still had plenty of time to what the parade and fireworks.
See the Osborne Spectacle of Lights// done 12-2015
I'm so glad we saw this before it went away forever. It was incredible.
Beat everyone in my family at Toy Story Midway Mania
Eat at the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater// done 9-2016
Most delicious sweet potato fries I've ever eaten. And the atmosphere is so fun.
Meet Buzz and Woody at Pixar Place
Ride the Grand Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros in Mexico// done 9-2016
Ken hated this ride. I love the song so much I don't mind that it's pretty lame otherwise.
Attend the Food and Wine Festival// done 9-2016
We're already dreaming of the next time we'll be back, if anything for the chocolate bread pudding from Ireland. And the cheese rolls from Brazil. And the steak from Canada.
Eat at Le Cellier
See the Voices of Liberty
Eat at the Rose & Crown
See the Canadian Lumberjacks
Meet Belle in France
Attend the Flower and Garden Festival
Ride Expedition Everest in the dark// done 9-2016
If you love the ride in the daytime, you'll love it even more in the dark.
Ride Kali River Rapids
Eat at Yak & Yeti// done 9-2016
One of the best meals I've ever had at WDW. I was beyond impressed. And the theming, like always, is phenomenal.
